DIRECT ANSWER

Workspace owners and admins use Settings for company details, reminder rules, users, connections, data ownership and advanced recovery. Routine bulk customer chasing changes live in Invoices for all workspace members. Owners retain exclusive control over owner roles and destructive workspace operations.

Manage team roles

Owners, admins and members have distinct authority. At least one owner must remain, and admins cannot change an owner.

  1. 1Invite a user by email and choose Member or Admin.
  2. 2Change roles from Users.
  3. 3Remove access when no longer needed.
  4. 4Verify the audit entry after each change.

Recover invalid state

Tenant admins can pause, resume, close or reopen non-paid cases. Pausing or closing cancels queued messages so an accidental send cannot follow the correction.

  1. 1Open Case recovery.
  2. 2Confirm the invoice and current state.
  3. 3Choose the smallest corrective action.
  4. 4Open the invoice case and verify its next action.

Important: A Xero-confirmed paid case cannot be reopened. Correct the accounting record in Xero first if it is wrong.

Apply tenant branding

Use an HTTPS logo and any six-digit primary colour. Branding appears in workspace identity and navigation; Chasd automatically chooses readable foreground colours for text, icons and controls.

Start from a safe preset

Gentle, Balanced and Firm sequences replace the default sequence atomically. Existing prepared emails keep their original copy, preventing mid-approval surprises.

Common questions

Can an admin remove the only owner?

No. Chasd requires at least one owner and blocks unsafe owner changes.

Can a tenant admin reopen a paid invoice case?

No. Xero is authoritative. A case marked paid by Xero stays closed until the accounting state changes upstream.

Are admin changes audited?

Yes. Significant changes record actor, time, entity and relevant before/after values.
