DIRECT ANSWER

Approval mode prepares eligible reminders and waits for an owner or admin. Autopilot sends eligible reminders automatically after the same safety checks. Approval mode is recommended until customer selection, message copy, Xero sync and exception ownership are stable.

How Approval mode works

Chasd prepares a reminder, shows recipient, subject and body, and waits. Approval triggers a fresh Xero payment check before provider submission.

How Autopilot works

Autopilot sends during the configured weekday window only when subscription, Xero health, contact eligibility and case state pass all stop rules.

Make the decision

Use Approval mode for new customers, unusual account relationships or changing copy. Use Autopilot for a proven routine with daily exception coverage.

  1. 1Review recent delivery and reply activity in Analytics.
  2. 2Confirm every enabled contact is legitimate B2B.
  3. 3Confirm an admin checks Needs attention each working day.
  4. 4Accept the Autopilot warning under Settings, then Reminders, and monitor the next cycle.

Common questions

Can Autopilot send outside the configured window?

No. Automation enforces the tenant weekday and configured time-zone sending window.

Does Autopilot bypass payment checks?

No. Every send performs a just-in-time Xero check and stops when payment is confirmed.
